Katy Perry: I Want Lots of Children

Katy Perry Grazia MagazineEven though Katy Perry just tied the knot in October, she's ready to have kids.

"I don't want to miss out on any experience. I want lots of children," she told UK's Grazia magazine. The pop star appears on the latest cover and opens up about married life and her first date with husband Russell Brand.

Perry also reveled that she's looking forward to spending her first Christmas with Brand. "There will be me and Russ and a pink Christmas tree and a tofu-urky. We'll open one present the night before because that's the tradition in my family," Perry said.

"And we'll do something new. We'll start our own new tradition because we are a family now."

"I have secrets and magic tricks, of course. I can't share them because then you'd all know," Perry said. "But let's just say I'm not shy."

Perry also gave details on her first date with Brand. "Russell gave this necklace to me on our first date. It's a Hindu hand of peace. But they're not beads, they are black diamonds. He gave me black diamonds on our very first date!"

"My hair was long and wavy at the time and he kept calling me a mermaid. He opened the book and wrote in it, 'You're a mermaid and I'm drowning.' Then he put this necklace on me." Looks like Brand really charmed Perry.

When asked about Brand, she replied, "What can I say? He's brilliant. Every day he amazes me." http://xml.channel.aol.com/xmlpublisher/fetch.v2.xml?option=expand_relative_urls&dataUrlNodes=uiConfig,feedConfig,entry&id=738016&pid=738015&uts=1291821978http://www.popeater.com/mm_track/popeater/music/?s_channel=us.musicpop&s_account=aolpopeater,aolsvc&omni=1&ke=1http://cdn.channel.aol.com/cs_feed_v1_6/csfeedwrapper.swfHOLLYWOOD, CA - DECEMBER 06: Katy Perry and Russell Brand attend the premiere of "The Tempest" at the El Capitan Theatre on December 6, 2010 in Hollywood, California. Katy Perry, Bruno Mars, Justin Bieber and More Spread Holiday Cheer at Jingle Ball 2010

Sure, Z100's Jingle Ball 2010 brought some of the year's biggest celebrities -- like Katy Perry, Justin Bieber and Kim Kardashian, to name a few -- to a packed Madison Square Garden last Friday night. But when fans watch the broadcast on Thursday night's broadcast on Fuse, they'll see it was the show's onstage collaborations and special guests that made it an evening to remember.

First-time Jingle Ball performer and the night's first act Taio Cruz performed his hits, but it was his rendition of his new single, 'Higher,' with Travie McCoy that set the tone for the rest of the concert. McCoy would later return to perform 'Billionaire' with Bruno Mars, who started the duet with a short cover of Barrett Strong's 'Money (That's What I Want).' While B.o.B. didn't bring out Weezer frontman Rivers Cuomo during 'Magic,' he did invite Mars to join him for 'Nothin' on You' and Paramore singer Hayley Williams to sing 'Airplanes.'

Paramore didn't have any big special guests during their set, but the punk-pop band enlisted Molly, a fan from the audience, to take over the vocals during the bridge of 'Misery Business' -- and the 16-year-old did so in full-on head-banging glory. Enrique Iglesias followed suit when he brought Rachel, a high school junior, to the stage and serenaded her with 'Hero.'

"I'll be your prom date," the Latin pop singer told her as he slow danced with her and kissed her on the forehead and cheek to seal the moment.

Michael Buble might not be what you would call one of today's biggest pop stars, but he brought his own modern jazzy flair on 'Haven't Met You Yet' and made the girls -- and their moms -- swoon when he jumped into the audience to sing, 'Let It Snow.' Former Disney princess Selena Gomez may not have invited any special guests onstage, but she and her band the Scene brought down the house with 'Naturally,' 'Round & Round' and 'A Year Without Rain.' But it was her performance of 'Rock God,' a song which Katy Perry penned for the budding artist's latest record, that Gomez really put her all in it -- perhaps to make the songwriter and her idol proud.

In true Katy Perry fashion, her performance featured pyro, elaborate sets and a sexy-sweet one-piece. Dressed as a toy soldier, Perry brought her twist on the 'Nutcracker' with ballerinas in gold tutus and even came out of a giant wrapped present at the beginning of her set. Being a Jingle Ball veteran, Perry thanked the night's host, New York City radio station Z100, for helping her get to the top.

"I remember when I came on, and I was really scared," Perry said before performing 'I Kissed a Girl.' "Obviously now I'm not scared anymore -- if you didn't' notice this outfit -- and I sang this song, and I'm going to do a remix of it now. Thank you Z100 for breaking that song and changing my life."

While each of the performances seemed to get bigger and bigger as the night wore on, it wasn't until Justin Bieber's set that things really heated up. "I don't know guys, it's getting hot in here," Kim Kardashian said as she introduced the teen megastar. "I think I'm getting a Bieber fever."

Dressed casually in khakis and a plaid button-down, Beiber opened his performance with 'Somebody to Love,' his duet with Usher, who couldn't make it that night since he had his own show in Newark, N.J. "It feels good to be back at Madison Square Garden," Bieber said. "I was at Jingle Ball

Katy Perry Gets Some Style Inspiration From Kate Middleton

Looks like Katy Perry took a style note from Kate Middleton for last night's Change Begins Within benefit at New York's Metropolitan Museum. She wore Issa, the designer who clothed Middleton in a navy wrap dress that instantly sold out when the future princess wore it while announcing her engagement to Prince William late last month.

Perry's long printed dress featured an asymmetrical neckline and a black, silver, red and white crisscross pattern.

The pop star, who recently became the first woman in 11 years to score three No. 1 pop singles from the same album, paired the gown with long black locks slightly parted to the side, a pair of sparkly bracelets, shiny round-toe satin pumps -- and her all-black-clad new hubby, Russell Brand, who rocked a velvet blazer.

This more elegant ensemble comes a few days after Perry wore a bevy of very sexy Christmas outfits -- including ensembles evoking a scantily clad Mrs. Claus, pantless toy solider and snowman -- to the Z100 Jingle Ball in Miami. Read More From StyleList
