David Arquette Walks Back His 'Nervous Breakdown' Comments

David Arquette may have a lot on his mind, but one thing's for sure: If he wants to keep private matters private, he should probably stop talking to Howard Stern.

On Wednesday, the recently separated actor went on the shock jock's radio show and admitted that he was having a rough go of things.

"Are you having a nervous breakdown?" Stern asked Arquette. "I believe so," the actor responded. "Everybody is worried and concerned about me."

Despite these admissions, Arquette has since changed his tune via Twitter, telling fans, "It is being reported that I'm having a nervous breakdown. I assure you am not. This stemmed from a joke I made on The Howard Stern Show and like many things in the media it was mis-reported and sensationalized."
Of his separation from Courteney Cox, Arquette also told Stern: "I've been drinking a lot because I'm heartbroken. It's really a personal, traumatic thing."

Arquette says he hopes that, in the future, people will pay less attention to his problems and more to the issues facing the world at large.

"I thank those that have been on my side during this rough time. What I do wish is that we all become more focused on the more important
