Charlie Sheen Avoids Criminal Charges for Hotel Incident With Porn Star

'Two and a Half Men' actor Charlie Sheen has been cleared of any wrongdoing stemming from his infamous crazy night at New York City's Plaza Hotel in October, UsMagazine.com reports. The New York Police Department's investigation into his actions that evening is officially over.

"There have been no arrests," a NYPD spokesman said. "That case is closed."

An investigation of the evening began after porn star--and Sheen's date for the evening--Capri Anderson filed a criminal complaint against Sheen. She said she was the victim of harassment and assault.

In the report, Anderson claims she had to lock herself in the bathroom because Sheen was out of control drunk and throwing furniture. But she told the police who responded to the scene she was fine, RadarOnline.com reports, and only claimed she was assaulted after the fact.
Last month, Sheen filed a lawsuit against the porn star claiming she was trying to extort him. The 'Two and a Half Men' star stated Anderson is trying "an attempted shakedown and extortion of the internationally known actor and celebrity Charlie Sheen." He goes on to describe her as "an opportunistic pornographic film star and publicity hungry scam artist."

Sheen also alleges that Anderson is merely out to get famous. He states in the suit: "after a consensual encounter with Sheen in the Plaza Hotel on the evening of October 25, 2010,
